Cajol Vintage Terracotta Pot

These terra-cotta pots, handcrafted and thrown, were initially utilized to store grains and sundries. Each pot was meticulously shaped by hand  then fired in a wood-burning kiln. The embers contributed to a unique patina and the surface was smoothed by usage and the passage of time.

As discovered, handcrafted objects no two pots are identical. The differences in size and shape contribute to the individual character of each piece and should be welcomed and appreciated.
