    About the Author

    Barbara Rowley is an editor and writer who has lived in Big Sky for thirty-four years, since writing a magazine travel assignment about the resort. She began her career at Outside magazine and received her master’s in journalism from Northwestern University. Over the course of her career, she has written for many national magazines and authored two books, while also raising two girls who love to ski the most extreme terrain on Lone Mountain.
